HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
- The Shillong Teer lottery is held in two short rounds, each lasting about two minutes.
- In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows, followed by 20 arrows in the second round.
- Participants place bets by choosing a number between 0 and 99, predicting how many arrows will hit the target.
- Tickets are available only at licensed counters and come in denominations of Rs 1, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50.
Winnings depend on both the stake amount and the accuracy of the prediction. For instance, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket earns Rs 80, while the same prediction in the second round pays Rs 60. Players who correctly predict both rounds can win up to Rs 4,000 with just a Rs 1 ticket.
