Paul Wesley tied the knot with Natalie Kuckenburg earlier this month, making fans go into a frenzy. The couple chose a minimalistic route through an intimate ceremony, grounded in love and connected to nature. However, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ actor revealed that they got legally married spontaneously. Every detail, from hiring the photographers to choosing the dress, was planned at the last minute. Here’s a closer look at Paul Wesley’s last-minute wedding ceremony with Natalie Kuckenburg.

Paul Wesley details how they legally got married

Despite planning a big wedding, Paul Wesley recalled how things turned out for his spontaneous nuptials at the San Diego Comic-Con 2026. “I just got married, yeah, eloped,” the 43-year-old actor said to Entertainment Tonight, before adding, “We were planning a big wedding, and then we were like, let’s just get legally married.” “We were waiting for a cancellation at the Santa Barbara courthouse because it’s such a beautiful courthouse,” Wesley shared, adding, “But it was booked out for three months, and we found a cancellation the night before.” As a result, Natalie found her dress, and they hired a photographer. “Everything was [done] the day before, and it was so special because…because it was so spontaneous; it made it more special. It was just us and our dog. It was amazing,” he concluded.

Natalie Kuckenburg shared glimpses of their beautiful wedding ceremony on Instagram on Monday, July 13, 2026. For the civil ceremony, the 26-year-old wore a sleek ivory gown. Meanwhile, Wesley wore a navy blue suit, black tie, and a white shirt. “Mr. and Mrs. and the Best Boy Greg,” the caption read. Paul Wesley proposed last summer, and she announced the news on social media on July 19, 2025, with a chic oval-cut ring. This wedding marks Paul’s third marriage, following his tie to fellow ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star Torrey DeVitt from 2011 to 2013, and jewellery designer Ines de Ramon from 2019 to 2024. Go to Source
