Indonesia has finalised a deal to procure India’s BrahMos supersonic cruise missile, becoming the second foreign buyer after the Philippines. The acquisition strengthens Jakarta’s maritime deterrence, particularly in the North Natuna Sea, while helping modernise its military under the Minimum Essential Force programme
