On the other side, former US President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned of severe consequences if a deal is not reached, combining pressure tactics with calls for negotiation.  Meanwhile, concerns are growing globally. Reports of increased military activity and potential threats to shipping routes have heightened fears of disruption to oil supplies and international trade.
