For Kim Kardashian, fitness is more than just a way to stay in shape. It’s her form of therapy. In a recent interview, the 44-year-old entrepreneur and reality TV star opened up about her daily workouts, the routines she swears by, and even the one form of exercise she just can’t stand.

Kim Kardashian describes herself as a dedicated weightlifter. “I do lots of weights,” she said in an interview with Vogue, explaining that her training usually lasts an hour and a half each day. Her sessions typically blend “weights and stretching, and a little bit of cardio,” offering her both strength and balance.

While she thrives on lifting heavy, she recently had to adjust her program due to back issues. “I have to do lower body to stay toned. I do a few days of upper body. I usually pick a body part, and we stick to that for the day,” Kim revealed.

Pilates for Balance and Recovery

Strength training may be her go-to, but Pilates holds a special place in her weekly routine. “I love pilates, so I will incorporate that, and I love wearing our [Skims] pilates leggings,” she shared. Beyond the gear, she relies on Pilates for its restorative benefits. “I find that when I don’t incorporate pilates at least once a week, I can feel it in my back. I definitely need that lengthening and stretching.”

The Workout She Can’t Stand

Despite her discipline, there’s one fitness trend Kim just won’t get behind: a dance workout. “Any dancing workout,” she admitted without hesitation. And while many people swear by hot yoga, Kim isn’t a fan. “Honestly, I know I should get into hot yoga, but I did it once, and I fell asleep. Just with the mood, and you lie down and close your eyes. I can fall asleep anywhere, so put me in a position to fall asleep, and I will,” she joked.

Outside the gym, Kim is also preparing for the launch of her highly anticipated Skims collection in collaboration with Nike.
