Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the government’s employment initiatives and claimed that the recruitment system in the state has become transparent after 2017. Addressing people in Pratapgarh, he said that youth from the district are now securing positions in police recruitment, public service examinations and other government departments based on merit. He alleged that before 2017, government jobs were affected by corruption and were inaccessible to deserving candidates, forcing many young people to migrate from the state. Yogi said the current “double engine” government has changed the work culture by ensuring equal opportunities for youth, benefits for farmers and better implementation of welfare schemes. The Chief Minister also spoke about farmer-focused initiatives, including the PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, irrigation schemes and free electricity facilities for private tube wells. He emphasized that the government is working to empower farmers, promote local products through Common Service Centres and provide development opportunities across Uttar Pradesh.
