A video of American rapper Chrisean Rock is going viral on social media. In the clip, she accused The Streamer Awards of being “racist.” She claimed the show failed to honor RaKai and Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., better known as DDG. The strong statement quickly spread across platforms and sparked intense debate. Many users reacted to her comments within hours of the video being shared.In the 26-second video, the 25-year-old shared her views on the 2025 edition of The Streamer Awards. She questioned the credibility of the awards and openly criticized the win of Alexander “FaZe Adapt” in the Best Breakout Streamer category. In the viral video, Chrisean Rock alleged that the event favored certain creators. She claimed the show only invited some people to promote others. She also directly questioned the win of FaZe Adapt. While speaking, she made several controversial remarks. “Now, who the fk is Adapt? We know who RaKai and DDG is. But who is Adapt? The awards was racist. They racist as hell! Y’all only invited the n***** to promote the White people that we do not give a fk about. We don’t even know. You did not earn that st. That’s fked up”, Rock said.Soon after the video went viral, thousands of users reacted on X. Many criticized Rock for her language and claims. Others tried to defend the award results. One user wrote, “‘The awards were racist’ is that why one black guy won like 5 awards?”. Another user commented, “Are yall dumb? Adapt been streaming before the black community knew about streaming . Thats one thing I hate about my people, some things are racist indeed but this is not . Kai , speed , etc they are like single years old . Faze, optic , gaming streamers been here since kids bro”.One user commented, “She’s brain-dead. Kai and Speed won the most awards. Just because your For You page didn’t win anything doesn’t mean you get to use racism to justify their loss.” The controversy also reached popular streamers. Twitch streamer and FaZe Clan member Jason “Jasontheween” also reacted to Rock’s comments. He posted a short response that read, “Wrap this s**t up”. As the debate continues across social media, the host of The Streamer Awards has not yet addressed the situation. Blaire “QTCinderella,” who hosted the event, has also remained silent on the matter.
