Saiyami Kher shared excitement after watching Haiwaan’s nearly complete first cut during dubbing, calling it “a great feeling” to work with Priyadarshan on his 99th film. Ahead of its teaser drop today, Saiyami Kher couldn’t contain her excitement after witnessing the nearly complete first cut of her upcoming film, ‘Haiwaan’, during recent dubbing sessions. Helmed by legendary filmmaker Priyadarshan as his monumental 99th directorial venture, the highly anticipated movie features a powerhouse cast led by Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Describing the collaboration as an absolute privilege, Saiyami opened up about seeing the veteran director’s vision finally come to life, dropping major hints about the scale of the high-stakes thriller ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on September 11, 2026.

Saiyami Kher recalls her dubbing experience

The excitement of seeing a film’s first cut is something every actor can relate to, and that’s exactly what Saiyami went through last week, catching a nearly complete version of ‘Haiwaan’ during her dubbing sessions. As reported in Mid-day, the actor said, “Every step of making a film is exciting, but dubbing is when you see everything come together. It’s a great feeling”.

Featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, ‘Haiwaan’ marks Kher’s first-ever collaboration with filmmaker Priyadarshan and as an added highlight, the thriller happens to be the director’s 99th movie. Calling it “a privilege” to work with Priyadarshan, Kher added, “The fact that this is his 99th film as a director makes it even more special. His storytelling has inspired generations, and to see his vision come to life on screen has been a learning experience. Watching the [cut] has only added to my excitement for the audience to see it.”
