Anna Rajan involves Police after being targeted with morphed picture

'Jailer 2' star Anna Rajan involves Kerala Police after being targeted with morphed obscene picture: 'This is shameful and unacceptable'

‘Jailer 2’ actress Anna Rajan has now broken her silence after she was allegedly targeted with online harassment involving a morphed image shared on Instagram. The Malayalam actress released a statement on the issue, saying some people deliberately distorted an obscene picture of her to defame her. Anna Rajan declared that it is a very disturbing case that cannot be ignored. Her statement has since sparked a discussion about online abuse and the misuse of digital platforms.

Anna Rajan calls the edited image a serious attack on her dignity

Taking to Instagram, Anna Rajan shared a screenshot of the alleged post and described it as a malicious attempt to defame her. She wrote, “This image has been maliciously edited and posted in an obscene and defamatory manner to damage my reputation. This is shameful and unacceptable and a grave violation of my privacy and dignity.” The actor further revealed that she has reported the account to Instagram and will also lodge a police complaint under the relevant laws. She added that every person involved in creating or sharing the edited image would be held accountable and that she intends to pursue the case until justice is delivered.

Kerala Police tagged as Anna Rajan urges people not to spread the content

In the caption accompanying her post, Anna tagged the official handles of Kerala Police and Cyberdome Kerala, requesting immediate intervention. She also stated that she has preserved all the evidence needed for the investigation. Appealing directly to social media users, the actor requested everyone not to share or support such abusive content, saying that circulating manipulated images only encourages online harassment and causes further harm to victims.

‘Jailer 2’ actor remains focused on her career amid the controversy

Anna Rajan made a memorable debut with ‘Angamaly Diaries’ before appearing in films including Ayyappanum Koshiyum, ‘Lonappante Mamodeesa,’ and ‘Kudumba Sthreeyum Kunjadum.’ She was most recently seen in ‘Daveed’ and will next be seen alongside Superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Jailer 2.’ Although the controversy has resulted in unnecessary publicity for her, Anna Rajan has opted to fight back through legal action, ensuring she does not tolerate any form of cyberbullying related to her reputation.
