FWICE lifts non-cooperation notice against Ranveer

This comes at a time when ‘Don 3’ is still making news. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) recently lifted its non-cooperation notice against Ranveer after he stepped out of the film. The move came after producer-director Farhan Akhtar reportedly filed a complaint claiming that Ranveer’s exit had caused a loss of nearly Rs 45 crore to the project.

About the ‘Don’ franchise

The ‘Don’ franchise is one of Bollywood’s most loved action-thriller series. After Shah Rukh Khan headlined the first two films, ‘Don 3’ was announced in 2023 with Ranveer taking over the iconic role, with Kiara Advani starring alongside him in the lead. Till date, both Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar have stayed quiet on the matter and are yet to make an official statement.

Ranveer Singh’s last film

On the work front, Ranveer was last seen in ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, the second part of the ‘Dhurandhar’ series. The film released in theatres on March 19 and did very well at the box office. The first part had come out on December 5, 2025. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film starred Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles.
