In the court filing obtained by TMZ, Jay-Z argues that the $119,000 awarded in his favour should not be wiped out because the court found it was tied to Coley’s “fraudulent statements and misrepresentations designed to harass and target” him.His legal team also alleges that Coley has spent the past decade pursuing what they describe as a campaign of harassment through repeated legal actions and public statements.According to the filing, Jay-Z has faced “numerous unfounded court filings, online harassment campaigns and public statements” from Coley over the years.
Long-running paternity dispute
The latest filing is linked to the long-running legal battle involving Rymir Satterthwaite, who has claimed for years that Jay-Z is his biological father. Rymir has alleged that his late mother, Wanda Satterthwaite, had a relationship with the rapper that resulted in his birth.
