Mammootty’s first response after health recovery: Thanks fans for their love; says ‘I know that everyone prayed for me’

Mammootty, the iconic figure of Malayalam cinema, is back in action on set after overcoming health challenges, bringing immense joy to his loyal fans. In a heartfelt message, he thanked everyone for their unwavering support and prayers throughout his recovery journey. Director Mahesh Narayanan has announced the continuation of filming, with exciting locations including Hyderabad and the UK lined up.

Malayalam cinema’s legendary star Mammootty has returned to the sets with renewed energy and the fans are all excited. Talking to the media, the ‘Patriot’ actor expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans and well-wishers who supported him through a period of illness.

Mammootty says Cinema is the job he love the most

Talking to the media Mammootty said, “Cinema is the job I love the most. I know that everyone prayed for me. To say that all those prayers have borne fruit is more than enough. This is proof that prayers made with love will always be answered. My happiness and gratitude to everyone. Thank you, thank you, to those who remembered and those who loved.”

Director Mahesh Narayanan welcomes Mammootty back

Filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, as reported by Manorama Online, expressed his happiness about Mammootty’s return to the location. “I am truly delighted that Mammukka has returned to the location. I don’t have much else to say. The shoot is going on. Mammukka was with us for almost 50 days of shooting before he took a break. Now, we have 6 days of shooting scheduled in Hyderabad, and after that, we will move to the UK. Chackochan is here, and a few other actors as well,” Mahesh said.

Reports suggest Mammootty has fully recovered, fans celebrate

From rumours to relief

For weeks, speculation about Mammootty’s health had stirred concern among fans. However, in August, his secretary George Sebastian confirmed that the veteran actor had fully recovered. The reassurance was further strengthened when Mammootty celebrated his 74th birthday on September 7. Recently the actor shared a post on Instagram that read, “Back to doing what I love most in life after a short break. Words aren’t enough to thank everyone who checked on me during my absence. The camera is calling…”Dulquer Salmaan also shared his happiness over his father’s health recovery. The ‘Lokah’ actor Tweeted, “After a brief pause, the King returns in style. A true legend never fades. #ReturnOfTheKing.”
