Akhil Akkineni visits Tirumala ahead of ‘Lenin’ release; Nagarjuna joins family for temple visit

With the release of ‘Lenin’ just days away, Akhil Akkineni, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Bhagyashri Borse, producer Naga Vamsi, and members of the film’s team visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple to seek divine blessings.As seen in the videos shared on X, Nagarjuna was accompanied by his family as the team offered prayers for the success of the much-awaited Telugu action drama ‘Lenin’.

Grand pre-release event

Before visiting Tirumala, the team held the film’s pre-release event on July 5 at the Nehru Municipal Grounds in Tirupati. Addressing his fans, Akhil thanked them for standing by him despite the long gap between his releases.He said, “It’s been a long time since my last release, and I sincerely apologise for making you wait. Not being able to stay connected with all of you has always weighed heavily on my heart. I only ask for your love and acceptance. Please embrace me as one among you and support my film, because that is what will truly make me happy.”

Nagarjuna praises Akhil Akkineni’s performance

Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, who attended the event as the chief guest, spoke highly of his son’s transformation in the film. Praising Akhil’s performance, he stated, “You won’t see Akhil on screen — you will only see ‘Lenin’. He has completely immersed himself in the role,” as quoted by Ap 7 am website.The senior actor also described the film as a “Mahabharata unfolding in Seema”.

Nagarjuna expresses confidence on ‘Lenin’

Nagarjuna also expressed complete confidence in the film’s theatrical prospects. He said audiences would witness a different side of Akhil in the upcoming action drama. Encouraging fans to support the release, he declared, “On July 10, our man is coming and he is going to rock it,” while seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateswara for the film’s success.

A rural action drama set in Rayalaseema

Written and directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, ‘Lenin’ is a Telugu-language village action drama set against the rugged backdrop of Rayalaseema. The film stars Akhil Akkineni and Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles, while Thaman S has composed the music.’Lenin’ is now set to arrive in cinemas worldwide on July 10 and the expectations are high.
