The UK saw violent protests after police footage was released of the stabbing of 18-year-old Henry Nowak last December. The visuals show the authorities handcuffing the teen despite his injury and saying he ‘can’t breathe’. Nowak was handcuffed after his killer, Vickrum Digwa, a Sikh man, lied to the police that he had been the victim of a racist attack
