Centre Cancels FCRA Registration Of Sonam Wangchuck’s SECMOL After Violent Ladakh Protests

The Ministry of Home Affairs cancelled SECMOL’s FCRA registration over violations, marking a major setback for activist Sonam Wangchuk.

In a big setback for activist Sonam Wangchuk, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday cancelled the FCRA registration of SECMOL (Students Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh) citing multiple violations under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010.
