JiDion says he is walking away from streaming after being arrested during a live Kick broadcast in Michigan, saying the incident made him rethink the kind of content he has been creating. The YouTuber, whose real name is Jidon Armani Adams, shared the announcement in a recent YouTube video, where he described the arrest as a wake-up call. Adams was taken into custody on June 22 outside a McDonald’s in Woodhaven during a confrontation linked to an alleged squatter. The livestreamed arrest quickly spread across social media, but JiDion now says the fallout from that day pushed him to make a major change.

Jidon Armani Adams says streaming pushed him into controversies

Looking back on his time as a streamer, Adams said many of his biggest problems started while he was live in front of an audience. In the YouTube video, he admitted he felt like he was “spiraling” and “losing the plot,” adding that streaming often brought out a side of him he did not like. “This is genuinely going to be my last video ever like this,” Adams said. “I’m never going to make a video like this again.” He explained that most of the controversies attached to his name came from moments that happened on stream. Adams specifically mentioned past disputes involving streamers and internet personalities, saying a large percentage of those situations were connected to his live content. According to him, the pressure to keep viewers entertained sometimes affected his decisions. Adams said seeing negative comments in live chat could push creators to go further than they normally would in an effort to make streams more exciting.“I’ve come to realize that, you know, genuinely streaming makes me the worst me,” he said.

Jidon Armani Adams plans to focus on predator-catching content

While announcing the end of his streaming career, Adams also spoke about the financial and personal impact of the Woodhaven case. He said he has spent “six plus figures” on legal fees for himself and others connected to the situation. He described the entire episode as unnecessary and accepted responsibility for his behavior. At the same time, Adams said he does not believe he committed a crime. However, he admitted he was being “annoying” during the incident and acknowledged that his actions contributed to the situation. The YouTuber also addressed the Woodhaven Police Department directly. He asked supporters not to contact officers or create problems on his behalf, making it clear that he does not want fans escalating tensions with local authorities. Near the end of the video, Adams left little room for doubt about his decision.“I quit streaming. I quit nuisance stuff. I quit all that,” he said. Although he is stepping away from livestreaming, Adams said he is not leaving content creation altogether. Instead, he plans to focus on his predator-catching videos, which have become a major part of his channel in recent years. He also said he hopes to return to Woodhaven in the future and maintain a positive relationship with the city. Go to Source
