Kai Cenat’s first stream in nine months tops 1 million viewers with Streamer University 2026 reveal

Kai Cenat made a big return to livestreaming after being away from regular streams for nine months, and millions of fans were excited to watch. His comeback stream was not just a normal livestream. Instead, Kai used it to officially reveal the professors and students for Streamer University 2026. The event became a huge success, with more than one million people watching live across Twitch and YouTube. It was also the first time Kai streamed on both platforms at the same time, making the special event even bigger for his fans around the world.

Kai Cenat’s return stream crosses 1 million live viewers across Twitch and YouTube

Kai’s comeback stream managed to garner a huge number of people right from when it was live streamed. As per the tracking site stats, the livestream hit a maximum number of 708,563 concurrent viewers on Twitch. Similarly, there were over 400,000 viewers watching it on YouTube. When both platforms were combined, the livestream crossed one million live viewers. This was Kai’s first full livestream since ending his record-breaking Mafiathon 3 subathon in October 2025. Before the stream, he had also announced that he would begin broadcasting on both Twitch and YouTube at the same time. His return proved that fans had been waiting for him, as they quickly joined the livestream in huge numbers.Even with more than one million combined viewers, the stream did not become Kai’s biggest Twitch broadcast. During Mafiathon 3, he had already crossed one million viewers on Twitch alone. Still, the latest numbers showed that Kai remains one of the most popular livestreamers in the world.

Kai Cenat reveals Streamer University 2026 professors and students

The main highlight of the livestream was the reveal of Streamer University 2026. Kai introduced a long list of well-known creators who will teach and guide new content creators during the event. The professors include Agent00, Duke Dennis, Cinna, Maya Higa, TheSushiDragon, Ludwig, Kaiya Cenat, Poudii, Pokimane, Adapt, Lizzo, and YourRAGE. Kai also revealed the students who were selected after applications opened earlier this year. Streamer University is a creator camp where new streamers and content creators get the chance to learn from experienced internet personalities. The project first launched in 2025 and quickly became popular among fans.Kai had made an announcement during the Mafiathon 3 that Streamer University will come back in 2026 with some more surprises.
