Škoda Auto India partners with CSC Grameen eStore to expand reach across India.Škoda Auto India on Wednesday announced a partnership with Common Services Centre (CSC) Grameen eStore to expand access to its vehicles in semi-urban and non-metropolitan regions across India.
Under the arrangement, customers in smaller towns and underserved markets will be able to explore and initiate purchase enquiries for Škoda’s models – the Kylaq, Kushaq and Slavia, through CSC’s digital-first network. Deliveries and after-sales support will continue through the automaker’s existing dealership infrastructure.
“Our partnership with CSC Grameen eStore allows us to bridge access gaps by combining the strength of a trusted local network with our diverse product portfolio that democratises technology for Indian customers,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India.
The move signals a broader push by the company to strengthen its presence beyond major metropolitan centres, as competition in India’s passenger vehicle market increasingly shifts toward Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
CSC Grameen eStore operates through a network of village-level entrepreneurs and digital access points across the country, providing a ready-made platform for automotive brands seeking deeper market penetration without immediate large-scale dealership expansion.
Industry analysts note that such hybrid retail models combining digital discovery with physical fulfillment are becoming more relevant as automakers look to reduce distribution costs while improving reach in emerging demand centres.
