Renault India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French automobile major Renault Group, on Tuesday inaugurated its first new’R store in Jharkhand, located in Ranchi, an urban experiential and futuristic car retail outlet.

According to the official press release, the newly opened outlet is accompanied by a service workshop in the city, taking Renault India’s total sales and service touchpoints across the country to 638, including 200 workshops on wheels.

“With the new’R Store, we are transforming how customers engage with Renault, more modern, more intuitive, and closer to their expectations,” said Francisco HidalgoMarques, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Renault India.

The Ranchi facility spans over 3,000 sq ft and includes display space for multiple vehicles, dedicated service bays, and a delivery area.

The new’R store is strategically located at Old H B Road to serve both the city and nearby regions. The launch also signals Renault’s focus on upgrading dealership formats to align with changing customer expectations around showroom experience and integrated sales-service operations.

The expansion comes as global automakers continue to invest in network modernisation and after-sales infrastructure to deepen market penetration in tier-2 and tier-3 cities across India.
