Brendon Sissing VP, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India inaugurates a state-of-the-art luxury showroom in Visakhapatnam.Mercedes-Benz India on Monday announced the inauguration of a new 1S luxury dealership in Visakhapatnam in partnership with dealer Silver Star, as the carmaker expands its retail presence in emerging markets across India.
The new 1S dealership in Andhra Pradesh includes a sales facility spread across about 2,300 sq ft and is located on the Chennai–Kolkata highway in Visakhapatnam.
The facility is compliant with Mercedes-Benz’s global Corporate Identity (CI) standards. The outlet will be supported by a 15-member team and marks Mercedes-Benz’s first luxury 1S facility in the city alongside its existing service operations.
Mercedes-Benz also showcased its all-electric CLA BEV model at the launch event in Visakhapatnam.
“With the inauguration of Silver Star, customers in Visakhapatnam will now have better access to world-class products and services from Mercedes-Benz,” Brendon Sissing, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India.
The opening is part of Mercedes-Benz India’s broader retail expansion plans for 2026, under which the company intends to add more than 20 new outlets across emerging and metropolitan markets. The expansion programme will be backed by around ₹200 crore of investment from franchise partners over the next two years.
