Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday expanded its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV, priced from ₹13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in two variants — AX5 and AX7L — the XUV 3XO EV is powered by a 39.4 kWh battery delivering a real-world range of up to 285 km.

Mahindra said deliveries of the XUV 3XO EV will begin from February 23, 2026.

Variant-wise prices (ex-showroom) are set at ₹13.89 lakh for AX5 and ₹14.96 lakh for AX7L, placing the XUV 3XO EV squarely in the fast-growing mass electric SUV segment as Mahindra looks to strengthen its position in India’s EV market.

The electric SUV generates 110 kW of power and 310 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 kmph sprint in 8.3 seconds, positioning it among the quickest in its segment.

The launch builds on the success of the ICE-powered XUV 3XO, which was introduced in April 2024 and has clocked close to 1.8 lakh sales so far. The electric version is aimed at urban customers seeking a city-focused EV without compromising on features, performance and safety.

Features

In terms of features, the XUV 3XO EV comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and auto emergency braking, along with Adrenox connected car technology, a 360-degree surround view system, and a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos on higher variants.

“The XUV 3XO rewrote the rules by bringing aspiration and accessibility together at scale. With the XUV 3XO EV, we are extending that winning proposition into electric mobility for customers who want an EV that simply fits their lives,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra.

Charging support includes fast charging capability, with the battery charging from 0 to 80 per cent in about 50 minutes using a 50 kW DC charger. An optional 7.2 kW wall charger is available at an additional cost.
