Bareilly Violence: Encounter Leads To Arrest Of Two Accused, SP Gun Seized, Multiple Arrests Continue

In a major development in the Bareilly violence case, two key accused were apprehended after an encounter with the police. During the operation, these suspects opened fire on the authorities, prompting return fire in which one of them sustained a leg injury. Both individuals, now in police custody, were initially treated medically before being formally arrested. Authorities also recovered a gun belonging to the SP City, which had been in possession of the accused during the incident.The arrests highlight the scale and premeditation behind the violence, as investigators continue to identify and apprehend other suspects involved. So far, 75 individuals have been detained, with police indicating that many more, including named and unidentified individuals from the FIR, are still being tracked. Several of the arrested individuals are reported to be history-sheeters with prior involvement in inciting communal tension and provoking violence.In parallel, local authorities are moving forward with actions against illegal encroachments linked to the accused. The investigation remains active, with more arrests expected in the coming days. Officials are emphasizing the seriousness of the conspiracy and the ongoing efforts to restore law and order in Bareilly, ensuring accountability for all involved.
