Priyanka’s ensemble featured a jewel-toned ultramarine kurta with silver zari embroidery that caught the festive lights with understated brilliance. The straight-cut kurta, styled with a matching dupatta, was fitting for the spiritual ambience of Durga Puja. Paired with matching straight-fit bottoms that echoed the kurta’s sheen and silver-accented borders, the outfit created a cohesive, regal silhouette. The deep hue contrasted beautifully against the vibrant reds and golds of the pandal, ensuring Priyanka stood out while staying rooted in tradition.
Keeping the focus on her outfit, Priyanka opted for minimal accessories. A pair of statement earrings subtly peeked through, complementing the embroidery without overwhelming it. Her makeup was fresh and festive with defined brows, softly blushed cheeks, and a nude lip, adding radiance to her look. A small bindi on her forehead added the perfect cultural touch, symbolising the spirit of Ashtami. Her hair was neatly pulled back, adding to the poised, devotional appearance.
Though she spends much of her time in Los Angeles, Priyanka’s return to India for the festive season underscored her strong cultural ties.
Beyond the Festivities
Priyanka’s visit to the pandal came amidst a packed schedule. She had recently returned to Mumbai while shooting for SS Rajamouli’s upcoming feature, SSMB29, co-starring Mahesh Babu. Alongside, she is preparing for the second season of Citadel and her adventurous role as a 19th-century pirate in The Bluff. Yet amidst global commitments, her presence at Durga Puja was a reminder of her ability to stay rooted in tradition while conquering international cinema.
