A domestic dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur turned violent when a woman allegedly bit off her husband’s ear during an argument at their home. Police said the man, identified as Amit Sonkar, sustained serious injuries after his wife Sarika attacked him. Amit Sonkar, who was later seen with a heavily bandaged ear, alleged that his wife first beat him and then bit off his right ear during the altercation. He also claimed she attacked him with a sharp weapon.

According to Amit Sonkar, he was asleep on a sofa when Sarika started arguing with him and later assaulted him.
