Kajol has always turned heads with her effortless style, and a big part of that credit goes to her bond with designer Manish Malhotra. Their association goes back 30 years, with Malhotra designing some of Kajol’s most loved looks — whether it was her on-screen outfits in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or her glamorous red-carpet appearances. Over the years, she has become one of his true muses, both in films and off the screen.

Recently, a series of photos of Kajol in a Manish Malhotra saree went viral on social media. The designer himself shared the pictures with a heartfelt caption, “For my dearest Kajol, a friend and muse of 30 years. This saree from Manish Malhotra World is woven in golden tissue and brocade and intricate hand embroidered vintage zardosi border—delicate yet powerful, just like her presence. The blouse collar is adorned with uncut jewellery pieces, each one as timeless as the bond we share. Stunning on Kajol.”

In the pictures, Kajol kept the accessories minimal, and let the saree take the centre stage. Her sleek, swept-back hairstyle worked perfectly with the blouse’s high neckline. Subtle makeup added a refined touch.

Kajol responded to Manish Malhotra’s post by writing, “Felt like a million bucks and looked it as well thanks to you.” Fans quickly flooded the comments section. A fan wrote, “So pretty,” while another added, “Stunning….Beautiful but Kajol makes it more beautiful…..God bless you both.”

Kajol’s Upcoming Films: Maharagni and The Trial Season 2

Alongside her stunning fashion moments, Kajol has a packed lineup of projects. She will headline Maharagni: Queen of Queens, directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati in his debut. Kajol plays the titular role, a determined woman on a mission for vengeance. The cast also includes Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal and Chhaya Kadam. While the release date is yet to be revealed, the film is already creating buzz.

Kajol will also return to the OTT world with season two of the legal drama The Trial.

Kajol Ventures Into Hosting: Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle

Adding another dimension to her career, Kajol will co-host Prime Video’s new talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, with Twinkle Khanna. The show will feature candid conversations, celebrity interviews and a fresh take on Bollywood and lifestyle.
