Kharge Targets Government: Demands PM Modi and Amit Shah’s Reply in Rajya Sabha

Rajya Sabha Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah come to the House and respond to the issues raised by the opposition. Kharge accused the government of avoiding a discussion and said that a democratic debate should take place inside Parliament. The government has argued that the Home Minister cannot respond unless the House functions properly due to continuous disruptions. Kharge, however, said the government should come forward for debate and answer questions regarding security actions, including allegations related to the use of force. The political standoff continues, with both sides blaming each other for the ongoing parliamentary deadlock.
