BJP Attack: Rahul Gandhi Targeted Over Parliament Disruptions, Party Calls Him “Irresponsible”

The political confrontation between the BJP and Congress has intensified over the functioning of Parliament. In a press conference, the BJP launched a strong attack on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of disrupting parliamentary proceedings instead of raising public issues through detailed debates. The party said that as the Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi should present strong arguments and participate in discussions on matters concerning citizens. The BJP alleged that Rahul Gandhi avoids facing debates when senior government leaders present facts and arguments in Parliament. The party criticised opposition protests and claimed that repeated disruptions harm the dignity of the House and affect democratic functioning. BJP leaders said Rahul Gandhi must understand the responsibilities associated with his constitutional position. The remarks came amid ongoing political tensions between the ruling party and opposition over various issues. The Congress and opposition parties have continued to raise concerns inside and outside Parliament, while the BJP has accused them of using protests instead of constructive debate.
