BREAKING: Yogi Targets SP Amid Ram Temple Donation Row as Devotees Demand Strict Action and Probe

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has intensified the political battle over the alleged Ram Temple donation misappropriation controversy, accusing the Samajwadi Party of hypocrisy over matters of faith. Addressing a public rally in Rampur, the Chief Minister alleged that leaders who once targeted Ram devotees are now attempting to portray themselves as protectors of religious sentiments. He recalled earlier political controversies, claiming that those who opposed the Ram Temple movement are today invoking Lord Ram for political gains. Yogi’s remarks come as the alleged donation irregularity at the Ram Temple continues to trigger sharp exchanges between the ruling BJP and the opposition. The Samajwadi Party and Congress have strongly criticized the Chief Minister’s comments, accusing the government of diverting attention from serious allegations surrounding the management of temple donations. Meanwhile, public anger over the alleged financial irregularities remains visible in Ayodhya. During interactions with local residents and devotees, many demanded a transparent and impartial investigation into the allegations. Several citizens stated that anyone found guilty of misusing devotees’ offerings should be immediately removed from the temple trust and prosecuted under the law. Some questioned why those facing allegations had not resigned, while others expressed concerns over accountability and transparency within the trust’s administration. Devotees emphasized that the Ram Temple represents the faith of millions across India and that even allegations of financial misconduct have deeply hurt religious sentiments. Many insisted that the investigation must be free from political influence and that strict legal action should be taken if any wrongdoing is established. As political accusations intensify and public scrutiny grows, the Ram Temple donation controversy has emerged as one of the most closely watched issues in Uttar Pradesh, with demands for justice, transparency, and institutional accountability dominating the public discourse.
