Nissan Motor India reported a 118 per cent year-on-year rise in domestic wholesales in May 2026, with volumes climbing to 2,948 units, marking its third consecutive month of domestic sales growth.

The automaker’s total wholesales, including exports, stood at 7,971 units during the month. Export volumes reached 5,023 units, continuing to contribute significantly to the company’s overall sales performance.

“The response to the All – New Nissan GRAVITE, along with the continued strength of the Nissan Magnite, including the growing adoption of our CNG offerings, gives us confidence in our India strategy,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd.

The May performance extends Nissan’s recent domestic momentum in the Indian market, supported by demand across its portfolio, including models in the compact SUV segment.

The company is also preparing to expand its product lineup with the upcoming debut of the Nissan TEKTON, as it seeks to strengthen its position in India’s passenger vehicle market
