Sara once ate 2 pizzas and 3 brownies daily before losing 45 kg

Sara Ali Khan once ate 2 pizzas and 3 brownies daily in New York before losing 45 kg, calls it as 'Mindless eating'

Sara Ali Khan recently revealed that during her student days in New York, she ate two pizzas and three brownies every day without counting calories. The unhealthy eating habits eventually pushed her towards a 45 kg transformation before her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath. She was last seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’.

Sara Ali Khan, now known as one of Bollywood’s fittest actresses, once lived a very different lifestyle during her student days in New York, where pizzas and brownies were a daily staple and calorie counting was the last thing on her mind. In a candid and refreshingly honest conversation, she looked back at those unhealthy eating habits that ultimately pushed her towards an incredible 45 kg transformation before making her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath.

Sara Ali Khan ate two pizzas every day in New York because of a combo deal

In a recent conversation with Curly Tales, Sara opened up about how her food choices during college were driven more by budget-friendly deals than any thought of nutrition. The actress confessed that she would order two medium pizzas almost every day while studying in New York, simply because a combo offer made it seem like the smarter choice. Laughing at the logic she followed back then, Sara shared, “I used to study in New York. There, a large pizza was more expensive than two medium pizzas. Because there used to be a deal: if you buy one medium pizza, you get the second one for 50 percent off. So I didn’t realise that would also mean me becoming 50 percent more.” She joked that she clearly “didn’t do the math properly” back then.

Sara Ali Khan’s breakfast in New York was three chocolate chip brownies every day

Beyond the pizza habit, Sara also shed light on her breakfast routine from those days, which turned out to be just as surprising. It appeared that mornings back then were largely driven by a love for sugar and whatever was most convenient. “My breakfast used to be three chocolate chip brownies,” she shared during the interview. The actress went on to explain that she would wolf them down on her short walk from the cafeteria to her classroom. “It was a 5-minute walk. I used to walk for 7 minutes and eat three brownies. I’m not joking,” she added. Looking back at that period of her life, Sara called it “mindless eating,” confessing that she gave little to no thought about what or how much she was eating throughout her time at university.

Sara Ali Khan was last seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ with Ayushmann Khurrana

On the work front, Sara was most recently seen in the romantic comedy ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, which hit theatres on May 15. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film also features Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. Go to Source
