With a car ride in China’s Tianjin with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister revived a tradition that he had begun with former US President Barack Obama in 2014: carpooling. Since them, from Emmanuel Macron of France to Giorgia Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned carpooling as a mark of bilateral relationship and personal rapport with foreign leaders.
