Breaking News: 12 Killed in Udhampur Bus Accident After Tyre Burst in Jammu & Kashmir

A major road accident has been reported in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, where a bus overturned after a tyre burst, resulting in a tragic loss of life. The bus was traveling from Ramnagar to Udhampur when the accident occurred. According to initial reports, the sudden tyre failure caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, leading to it overturning on the road. At least 12 people have been reported dead in the incident, while several others are believed to be injured. Rescue operations were immediately launched, and local authorities along with emergency teams rushed to the spot to assist victims and clear the wreckage. Visuals from the accident site show the severely damaged bus after the crash. The incident has raised concerns over road safety and vehicle maintenance standards in the region, especially on hilly and high-risk routes like those in Jammu and Kashmir.
