Nepal’s judicial commission seeks ex-PM Oli’s prosecution for deaths in ‘Gen-Z protests’

A judicial commission investigating the violence during last year’s ‘Gen-Z protests’ has recommended the prosecution of then-Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli for ‘negligence’ for failing to prevent dozens of deaths. If convicted, he could be jailed for up to 10 years.
