Škoda Auto India on Tuesday inaugurated its first-ever dealership facility in the northeastern state of Meghalaya, marking the company’s entry into the market. The new sales, service and spares (3S) facility is located in Shillong.

The facility has been launched in partnership with SSB Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. (Lai Jong Skoda), enabling customers in the region to access the company’s full product range and services.

The dealership, situated in Laitkor Rngi, includes a 3,000 sq ft showroom capable of displaying four vehicles and a 7,250 sq ft service facility with three service bays.

With this addition, the automaker’s nationwide network has expanded to more than 325 customer touchpoints across 184 cities in India.

“This newly inaugurated facility will provide customers access to our full product portfolio, including the Kylaq, Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq, along with the premium ownership experience and service standards that define the brand,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India.

The move strengthens the company’s presence in the northeastern region as it expands its retail and service footprint across the country.

“We are proud to partner with Škoda Auto India and bring the brand’s product range and services to Meghalaya. This new 3S facility has been designed to deliver a premium and seamless customer experience, right from sales to service,” said Rakesh Kumar Singh, Dealer Principal, SSB Automobiles Pvt. Ltd.
