Laura Loomer defends Usha Vance, says ‘brown Hindu woman’ gets hate for no reason

Laura Loomer defends Usha Vance, says 'brown Hindu woman' gets hate for no reason: 'I hope SLOTUS never converts'

Far-right political activist Laura Loomer has come to the defence of US second lady Usha Vance, arguing that hate directed at her is because of her Indian heritage and Hindu faith.Loomer’s comments came after a clip from a recent CBS interview featuring Usha Vance and US vice president JD Vance. In the interview, Usha Vance spoke about her religious background and explained why she has not followed her husband’s path of converting to Christianity, Catholicism.”I grew up in a Hindu household that was a very stable household. I have not felt the same need to seek something different that he (JD Vance) has,” says US Usha Vance on her religion and her husband’s conversion to Catholicism.Loomer praised Usha Vance for remaining committed to her faith despite criticism from some conservative circles, including podcaster Tucker Carslon. In a lengthy post on X, Loomer wrote: “Powerful statement by Usha Vance who has been called a Dirty Jeet by Tucker Carlson’s friends. She has no reason to convert to Catholicism to appease the obsession of Tucker’s base.Loomer said that no matter what Usha says or does, she will never be accepted by some MAGA figures: “Groypers and Tucker Carlson will try to abuse her though throughout 2028 because she’s a brown Hindu woman, despite her many accomplishments. They will pretend like she is not American enough, and no amount of ‘tolerance’ for these parasites by her husband who thinks he can put them at bay with kindness will make them vote for JD Vance because deep down, Tucker’s audience are all racial supremacists, professional blackmailers, violent Jew haters and Islamic sympathizers who hate America.”Loomer added that Usha should never convert: “I hope SLOTUS never converts because I know how much it p***es off the Woke Reich losers and she doesn’t have to do s**t for any of these retards.”One X user asked Loomer: “Have you ever met an Indian?”Responding to the question, Loomer referenced a recent visit to India and shared a positive assessment of her experience.Loomer said: “Yah I was just in India for 2 weeks and Indians are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. They are so kind, generous and I will take a 100 Hindus over 10 Muslims any day.” Loomer has previously attacked immigrants and Indian workers in US. The conservative activist earlier criticised H-1B visa holders, claiming Indians were taking American jobs. Now, her stance on the Indian-American diaspora and India in general has changed.
