Madonna Finds Her Glow Again Thanks to Akeem Morris

Madonna, 67, is back in the headlines, this time for the positive influence of her 29-year-old boyfriend, Akeem Morris. Insiders reveal that his presence in her life is reshaping how she approaches beauty and aging.

For decades, Madonna’s cosmetic procedures have sparked endless speculation. But sources say she’s now shifting toward a more natural look. According to Page Six, “She wants to look like herself again. Her face is so iconic, and she’s realized it doesn’t need to be overworked. She wants it to move.”

The change, in part, is attributed to her relationship with Morris. “She’s starting to listen to Akeem, who tells her she’s beautiful. She doesn’t normally listen to anyone, but she does him,” said one insider.

Who is Akeem Morris?

Akeem Morris, originally from Jamaica, is a former professional soccer player whose path eventually brought him to the U.S. He attended Stony Brook University in New York, where he played college soccer and earned recognition for his athletic skills. After graduation, he joined Oyster Bay United FC, a team competing in the United Premier Soccer League.

His connection with Madonna began in 2022 during her Paper Magazine photoshoot, though at the time she was seeing someone else. Their relationship deepened in 2024 following her split from boxer Joshua Popper.

Public and private milestones

By mid-2024, Morris began making appearances on Madonna’s Instagram. He was by her side during her July 4th celebrations, when she reflected on her recovery from a serious health scare the previous year. Since then, he’s been part of intimate family moments, joining her children for Christmas and Hanukkah gatherings in December 2024.

This August, the couple celebrated Madonna’s 67th birthday in Italy, where she fulfilled a long-time dream of attending the historic Palio horse race in Siena. Sharing a video of the experience, she wrote, “My dream for many years has been to watch the Palio horse race in Siena that takes place on my birthday, August 16, since 1482!! There are no words to describe…the excitement, the suspense, and the pageantry!! Dreams do come true! Happy Birthday to me!!!”

Why he matters

Morris may not carry Madonna’s global fame, but his impact on her life is undeniable. To her, he represents more than just a younger partner, he’s someone who makes her laugh, helps her feel at ease, and reminds her of the joy in simple, everyday moments.
