EBG Group launches India’s first smart-ageing wellness chain AGEON through strategic joint venture

EBG Group, a diversified multi-sector conglomerate, has announced a strategic joint venture with AGEON, marking the launch of India’s first integrated longevity and smart-ageing wellness brand. The new venture—AGEON EBG Wellness Private Limited—is set to redefine the preventive health and wellness landscape through a data-driven, technology-enabled approach designed to enhance vitality, recovery, and long-term healthspan.

The 50:50 partnership combines AGEON’s clinical and therapeutic expertise with EBG Group’s extensive franchising, marketing, and technology ecosystem to deliver a scalable model of science-backed wellness. The joint venture will oversee brand expansion, franchise development, technology integration, and quality assurance across India, while also developing verticals for manufacturing wellness devices, nutritional supplements, and establishing accredited training academies for wellness professionals.

AGEON plans to open 50 centres across India over the next 12 months, with the first phase focusing on Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad, followed by Tier-II city expansion. The network will operate primarily through a Franchise Owned–Company Operated (FOCO) model, alongside corporate wellness and institutional partnerships. Franchise investments begin at approximately INR 50 lakh, with variations based on city and format.

Each AGEON centre will deliver protocolised, measurable, and personalised programs integrating advanced diagnostics with targeted interventions. The therapy portfolio includes red light therapy, oxygen chambers, infrared saunas, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, and complementary treatments aimed at promoting cellular recovery, immune resilience, and healthy ageing. These offerings will be supported by real-time monitoring tools, AI-driven analytics, and evidence-based care frameworks that enable measurable progress for each client.

Grounded in EBG’s People–Planet–Progress philosophy, AGEON will implement standardised clinical pathways, quality controls, and unified customer experience protocols across its centres. This integration ensures consistency of service, transparency of outcomes, and efficient scaling through digital connectivity. EBG’s franchise and technology platforms will further enable the brand to manage operations seamlessly across multiple geographies.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Hari Kiran, Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer, EBG Group, said:

“With AGEON, we are bringing the future of health and longevity to India—accessible, science-driven, and scalable. Our goal is to make preventive wellness a part of everyday life, anchored in data, diagnostics, and trust.”

Adding perspective on the collaboration, Mr. Ranjith Menon, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, AGEON, said:

“Our partnership with EBG allows us to scale clinical excellence with structure and sustainable impact. Together, we aim to make AGEON a benchmark for evidence-based wellness in India, bridging healthcare innovation with the pursuit of longevity.”

The joint venture represents a convergence of healthcare, technology, and sustainable business models—positioning AGEON as a transformative force in India’s USD 24-billion wellness market, which is increasingly shifting towards preventive and personalised health solutions. By aligning clinical rigour with operational scalability, the partnership seeks to make advanced longevity therapies more accessible to the urban and semi-urban population.

Over time, AGEON EBG Wellness plans to build a comprehensive ecosystem that not only focuses on wellness services but also includes device innovation, supplement formulation, and therapist certification. These initiatives aim to set new standards for quality, transparency, and safety in India’s fast-evolving wellness and alternative healthcare segments.

As India transitions from reactive healthcare to proactive, data-informed wellness, AGEON’s entry marks a defining moment in the evolution of the country’s longevity economy. With its focus on measurable outcomes, sustainable operations, and integrative wellbeing, the AGEON–EBG partnership reflects a future where wellness, science, and technology converge to extend both lifespan and healthspan.
