A new video of Hardik Pandya and Mahieka Sharma has reignited engagement buzz.The new clip doing the rounds online, sees the couple seated side-by-die participating in a private puja ceremony. The two sit bowing their heads and with their hands joined in prayer as four priests conducts rituals around them. While previous clips and photos had shown the couple together, conducting a puja together, this new clip, which also shows priests at the ceremony, has reignited speculation about a hush-hush engagement.

Social media users were quick to notice that the footage appears to be from last month, around the same time Mahieka was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger. For the puja ceremony, the 24-year-old model and the cricketer dressed in matching shades of red kurtas.While Hardik has chosen not to comment publicly on the viral speculation, Mahieka addressed the chatter last week, in a light-hearted Instagram story, writing, “Me watching the internet decide I’m engaged when I just wear nice jewellery every day.”

Hardik’s relationship timeline

Pandya and Mahieka made their first public appearance as a couple on October 10, when they were photographed together at Mumbai airport. Since then, the two have not shied away from posing PDA-filled social media posts online.Before making headlines for his relationship with Mahieka, the star cricketer was rumoured to be dating singer Jasmin Walia, though neither confirmed the relationship.
