The beachwear collaborations setting the pace this season

As summer approaches, beachwear is becoming a hotbed for collaborations. Capsule collections are proliferating this spring, spanning swimwear, hybrid wardrobes, and creative pairings. Here’s a round-up of the latest collaborations.

Rip Curl x Farm Rio

The Australian brand Rip Curl, founded in 1969 in Torquay and historically rooted in surf culture, has teamed up for the first time with Brazilian label FARM Rio, known for its colourful universe and Rio de Janeiro-inspired prints, to launch a summer capsule.

For over 50 years, Rip Curl has been a benchmark in technical surf-wear, driven by performance and product innovation. For its part, FARM Rio has been developing joyful, expressive fashion for more than 28 years, built around vibrant florals and an identity deeply connected to Brazilian energy.

The result is a complete, summer-ready wardrobe where the two worlds come together naturally, from swimwear to wetsuits, and including ready-to-wear, luggage, and accessories.

A floral motif serves as the common thread throughout the capsule, appearing on bikinis, dresses, striped shirt-and-trouser sets, T-shirts, and even a tropical-print suitcase. This inaugural collaboration between the two brands is available exclusively in Europe and North America.

Available since April 1 on both brands’ websites as well as through selected stockists, the collection is priced between 29.99 euros and 139.99 euros.

Aigle x Chlore

For those already looking ahead to high summer, outdoor brand Aigle has teamed up with Chlore, a pioneer in technical swimwear, for a collaboration dedicated to water and movement.

Conceived as a technical swim wardrobe, the capsule brings together Aigle’s outdoor DNA and Chlore’s swimwear expertise in high-performance, durable pieces designed for use from sea to pool.

The collection comprises several technical essentials. A two-piece swimsuit in Lycra Xtra Life Sensitive fabric provides support, comfort, and UV resistance. A one-piece swimsuit in double-sided Sensitive fabric completes the offer, with UV 50+ protection and a cut designed for movement.

A long-sleeved Lycra top in perforated polyamide extends the silhouette, while a cotton-terry poncho is ideal for post-swim wear.

The capsule also includes men’s swim shorts, marking a first for Chlore in this segment. Made from an eco-responsible material composed of 50% recycled fibres, they prioritise lightness, quick drying and everyday wear.

The collection will be available in June on both brands’ websites and through selected stockists.

Cupshe x Camille Cerf x Diane Leyre

Californian brand Cupshe, founded in 2015 in Santa Monica, joins forces with Camille Cerf and Diane Leyre for a collaboration entitled ‘À Deux, C’est Mieux.’

The collection comprises 44 looks combining one-piece swimsuits and two-piece sets, offered in a range of cuts designed for both beach and pool. It is structured around two complementary interpretations. On the one hand, Camille Cerf offers 23 looks with a more classic, retro-chic style. On the other, Diane Leyre presents 21 more daring silhouettes, with ruffled or polka-dot bikinis, as well as wrap dresses and printed pieces with fluid, enveloping lines, all in sizes from XS to XL to suit all body types.

The wardrobe is completed by around 10 ready-to-wear pieces, including trousers, tunics, dresses, and jumpsuits, extending the looks beyond swimwear.

The collection is accessibly priced, from 29.90 euros for trousers to 45.90 euros for a dress, and is available on the brand’s website.

RVCA x Antonia Figueiredo

After a first collaboration led by a Brazilian brand, the season continues with a new interpretation from Brazil. Californian brand RVCA, rooted in the worlds of skate, surf, and artistic creation, has teamed up with artist Antonia Figueiredo for a capsule where art becomes a textile language.

Born in Brazil in 1997 and now based in Lisbon, the artist has developed a world shaped by the light of the city, where botanical motifs mingle with naive human and animal figures.

This pictorial universe is transposed here onto around 20 pieces. The wardrobe opens with everyday essentials, with graphic T-shirts and tank tops priced at about 30 euros.

The capsule includes a small beach selection, comprising a one-piece swimsuit and a two-piece set, as well as accessories such as bucket hats priced at around 40 euros. The rest of the collection expands into printed shirts, co-ordinated sets and workwear-inspired pieces, up to jumpsuits priced at around 120 euros, where the artist’s work is expressed through bold visuals.

The RVCA x Antonia Figueiredo collection has been available since early April on the brand’s website, at the RVCA Store Paris, and through selected stockists.

Lorna Murray x Anja Paris

For the keen and the patient alike, European contemporary swimwear house Anja Paris has teamed up with Australian artisanal and sustainable brand Lorna Murray for a capsule collection with a distinctly summery feel.

It features a signature hat and matching bag in a custom blue inspired by the Anja Paris swimwear palette.

The meeting of the two worlds is based on a dialogue between Lorna Murray’s artisanal aesthetic and Anja Paris’s minimalist, sunlit vision. Ocean blue contrasts with natural fibres and handwoven finishes. Made using traditional techniques, the pieces are part of a shared approach to sustainability, natural materials, and responsible production, supported by know-how developed with partner artisan communities.

The collection will be available on May 12 at a pop-up at Le Bon Marché in Paris, as well as online with international distribution.
