The collection merges the brand’s signature American glamour with the actress’s legacy of sensuality and timeless style. At its core is the revival of the brand’s archival Marilyn three-zip jean, updated with modern washes and fits to resonate with today’s consumer.

Other silhouettes reference key wardrobe staples associated with the star, including halter neck dresses, bustier tops, cropped jackets and capri pants. Balancing the assortment are more casual elements such as graphic tees and denim jackets, incorporating vintage-inspired prints including polka dots, cherries and checks. The result is a collection that blends retro references with a youthful, updated energy aimed at a new generation of consumers.

“Marilyn’s authenticity made her a symbol of American femininity,” said Paul Marciano, Guess Inc. co-founder and chief creative officer. “Her style was an expression of her identity. With this collection, we honor her legacy and celebrate the idea that when you embrace who you are, your style becomes truly timeless.”

The Marilyn Monroe capsule collection will be available as of this month through Guess retail stores, online and select wholesale partners.
