FaZe Lacy has officially left CORE, the content group that launched only around two months ago. The streamer shared the news on June 28 and said the decision was mutual. While many fans first thought something bad had happened, Lacy explained that there was no drama between him and the group. Instead, he said his career goals had changed. He wants to focus on opportunities outside streaming, including acting, modeling, and other entertainment projects, making it difficult to fully commit to CORE.

FaZe Lacy parts ways with CORE after just two months

Lacy announced his departure through a short message and a video, where he wished the remaining CORE members the best. He said that things simply “didn’t align” anymore but made it clear that both sides agreed to the decision. The streamer compared his exit to KSI leaving the Sidemen while still supporting the group. He said he would continue cheering for CORE and hoped it would become successful.Lacy also explained that he has recently been getting new opportunities outside streaming. According to him, he wants to explore acting, runway modeling, and other entertainment projects. Because of that, he felt it was better to step away from CORE instead of trying to balance everything at once.

Why CORE was created and how fans are reacting

CORE was launched around April 30, 2026, by several former FaZe Clan creators, including Marlon, Adapt, Stable Ronaldo, Silky, JasonTheWeen, and Lacy. The name stands for “Create Own Run Everything.”The group was formed after several creators left FaZe Clan following the organization’s internal changes and ownership issues. The members even moved into a streamer house with the goal of creating fun collaborative content similar to FaZe’s early days.Lacy’s exit has surprised many fans because CORE is still very new. Some people believe his explanation and think he simply wants to grow his career beyond streaming. Others are wondering if there is another reason behind the split, although neither Lacy nor CORE has suggested that there was any conflict. For now, both sides have described the separation as friendly. Lacy is moving forward with new career opportunities, while CORE will continue creating content with its remaining members. Fans will now be watching to see how both Lacy’s next chapter and CORE’s future develop in the coming months. Go to Source
