Congress MPs from Punjab staged a protest in the Parliament complex targeting Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the state government over alleged paper leak cases. Party leaders, including Raja Brar, Amar Singh, and Gurjeet Aujla, demanded accountability and action against those responsible. Congress claimed that multiple examination papers have been leaked in Punjab over the past few years, affecting lakhs of students and impacting their futures. The party demanded an apology from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and sought the resignation of the concerned ministers, including those handling education and health portfolios. Congress leaders accused the Punjab government of downplaying the issue by calling it a cheating case instead of a paper leak matter. They argued that the youth across the country have united over examination-related concerns and that the movement represents students fighting for their future. Meanwhile, Parliament proceedings continued amid disruptions, with the Lok Sabha adjourned until noon and the Rajya Sabha functioning amid Opposition protests. The issue has added another political flashpoint during the ongoing Monsoon Session.
