The crucial meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was delayed beyond its scheduled 3:00 PM start as key members continued arriving at the Ram Temple complex in Ayodhya. Initially, only five trustees had reached the venue, and the meeting was postponed pending the arrival of Trust President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Despite his recent health issues, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das left his camp in a wheelchair to preside over the meeting. In a major development, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai arrived at the temple complex at approximately 3:06 PM, putting an end to speculation that he might skip the meeting. However, trustee Anil Mishra had not reached the venue at the time of the latest update. Several trustees, including Swami Govind Dev Giri, Krishna Mohan, Mahant Dinendra Das, Vasudevanand Saraswati, and Parmanand Giri, had already arrived. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das also reached the temple complex ahead of the meeting. The meeting is expected to focus primarily on the resignations of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra in connection with the alleged Ram Temple donation theft controversy. Deliberations will begin once Mahant Nritya Gopal Das arrives and formally chairs the session.
