Milan-London flight diverted to Paris as passenger starts 'eating' passport, another tries to flush it down

Ryanair’s Milan to London flight diverted after passenger starts eating his passport.

A Ryanair flight from Milan to London was diverted to Paris as passengers freaked out seeing the weird activities of two men — one began ripping pages out of his passport and eating them. Another ran to the toilet and locked himself up, and tried to flush his own passport down the toilet. All this drama started around 15 minutes into the flight when the seat belt sign went off.Daily Star cited a witness who said that the staff of the plane were notified and it was chaos all around as nobody understood what was happening. A flight attendant is said to have then knocked on the toilet door and attempted to convince the passenger not to flush his passport. An announcement was made about the unexplained chaotic situation when the pilots decided to make an emergency landing in Paris. Two men were arrested by the French Police on landing, and then the plane resumed its journey to London — but not for two hours. The passengers were already freaking out when the chaos broke out, but the diversion deteriorated the situation more. One described it as the “most terrifying 15 minutes” of life. “I think Ryanair [was] brilliant in handling it in a certain way. They gave out drinks towards the end of the flight as we were coming in over Stansted. I am just really glad I landed,” the passenger said. But what still remains a mystery is why the two men went berserk on the flight and whether they wanted to destroy their passports for some reason and created the chaos acording to some plan.
