MG Cyberster Couture EditionNew Delhi: JSW MG Motor India’s luxury brand channel, MG Select, has launched the Couture Editions of its flagship electric vehicles—the MG M9 and MG Cyberster—priced at ₹84.94 lakh and ₹87.49 lakh, respectively, as it looks to strengthen its presence in the premium luxury EV segment.
Developed in collaboration with couturier Gaurav Gupta, the limited-edition models feature bespoke design elements inspired by the designer’s signature Serpent Infinity motif, marking an extension of his couture aesthetics into automotive design.
The Couture Editions follow the collaboration first unveiled earlier this year at the opening of Gupta’s menswear flagship in New Delhi and were subsequently showcased alongside his Light Song couture collection in Mumbai in July, where MG Select was the official automobile partner.
“The Cyberster and M9 have quickly become the most sought-after luxury EVs in their segment. By introducing a couture layer, we are building on that popularity with an offering that is both rare and collectible,” said Milind Shah, Head – MG Select, JSW MG Motor India.
Gaurav Gupta said the partnership demonstrates how couture principles such as craftsmanship, precision and storytelling can be applied to luxury mobility.
Both vehicles feature hand-finished detailing, tonal layering and embroidery inspired by Gupta’s Serpent Infinity design language, which the designer associates with continuity, transformation and quiet power.
The Couture Edition accessory package will be limited to 50 units for each model and will be available exclusively through MG Select Experience Centres across 14 cities. Bookings have opened on the company’s website, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from August 10.
