On December 23, 2025, Bollywood delivered a slew of must-see updates and unseen pictures for fans. From Kriti Sanon wrapping up Cocktail 2 to Samantha Ruth Prabhu sharing rare wedding photos, along with reports of Akshaye Khanna exiting Drishyam 3, here’s a look at the day’s top buzz.

Kriti Sanon wraps up ‘Cocktail 2’

Kriti Sanon has completed shooting for her upcoming romantic comedy Cocktail 2. The actor recently described the atmosphere on set as “happy, positive and fun,” summing up the mood after weeks of filming. In the film, she will be seen alongside Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. According to Mid-Day, Kriti said she had been craving a lighter project. “I wanted a movie like Cocktail 2, especially after Tere Ishk Mein, which was so intense and heavy. I wanted to be in this light, fun rom-com space. Things fell in place at the right time,” she said with a smile.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu Jokes She Is Raj Nidimoru’s ‘Problem Now’!

Samantha Ruth Prabhu shares wedding pics with Raj Nidimoru

On Christmas Eve, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to Instagram to reflect on a whirlwind year, sharing a series of pictures offering glimpses into different moments. Among them was an unseen photograph from her wedding day, showing her seated beside Raj Nidimoru in their wedding attire as he struck a playful expression, prompting her laughter. She captioned the post, “A year of gratitude.”

Akshaye Khanna quits ‘Drishyam 3’

According to Bollywood Hungama, Akshaye Khanna has quit Drishyam 3 following creative and remuneration-related disagreements with the makers. After the success of Dhurandhar, the actor reportedly revised his fees and demanded Rs 21 crore for the film. Akshaye also suggested a change in his on-screen appearance, expressing a desire to wear a wig for the role. However, the makers were not in favour of the idea, as he appeared without a wig in Drishyam 2 and they were keen on maintaining visual continuity. Since his demands were not met, he decided to walk out of the project.

HC protects Shilpa Shetty’s personality rights

On Friday, the Bombay High Court strongly criticised AI-generated and morphed images of Shilpa Shetty, terming them “extremely disturbing and shocking.” The court directed social media platforms to immediately remove all related links and webpages. As reported by PTI, a vacation bench led by Justice Advait Sethna noted that the submitted material was “prima facie extremely disturbing,” and observed that “no personality, much less a person and or a woman, can be portrayed in a fashion which affects her fundamental right to privacy and that too, without her knowledge and or consent.”

Jugal Hansraj recalls struggling days

Jugal Hansraj reflected on the rejections he faced and how he navigated difficult phases in the film industry. Speaking to Pinkvilla, he said, “This has been constant in my career—there would be a commitment, but later the film would get shelved. It happened with big producers of that time. When I was younger, I was heartbroken by it. But I couldn’t get angry because nobody was doing it on purpose. The circumstances were beyond anyone’s control. Then what can you do? You just move on.” He added, “I had a very strong support system. My family consisted of my parents and my older brother. Now only my elder brother is there, but he is still a constant source of support. I also had friends who would always encourage me. If you have a good support system and a level head, it helps—otherwise, it can affect you. Too much success can affect you, and too much failure can also affect you. I think it’s best to take both with a pinch of salt, as part of life.” Go to Source
