Shanaya Kapoor not part of Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha

Shanaya Kapoor not part of Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha

Mohanlal’s fourth release this year is the multilingual film Vrusshabha, where he appears as a warrior. Shanaya Kapoor, initially part of the cast and having completed the first schedule, has reportedly exited the project due to casting changes and date conflicts. She debuted in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan after previous projects fell through.

Mohanlal who has already had three releases this year in L2: Empuraan, Thudarum and Hridyapoorvam is all set for fourth release which is Ektaa R Kapoor’s multilingual film Vrusshabha. The film directed by Nanda Kishore dropped the first look of the film on Tuesday where Mohanlal is seen in a warrior avatar. The film is a drama between two time zones where rivals are reborn as father and son. Though an interesting thing to note here is that Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor who was supposed to be part of the film seems to have parted ways with the film some time back. The actress who shot for the film in 2023 – had put up a post from the sets stating that she has concluded the first schedule of the film. Sharing an image from the sets she wrote “And it’s a wrap as we conclude the first shooting schedule of #Vrushabha (heart emoji)” but this post has now gone missing from her Instagram profile. Sources reveal that the film went through a casting change over dates which led to Shanaya along with Roshan Meka parting ways with the film.

Shanaya Kapoor to dazzle in ‘Student of the Year 3’ with double role

Shanaya finally made her Hindi debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey in February this year. The film hardly made a dent at the box office. But actress was earlier supposed to make her debut with Lakshya who will be seen in The Ba***ds Of Bollywood in a film called Bedhadak but that film failed to go through, she was then supposed to do a film with Tiger Shroff but even that fell through. She very recently took the entrepreneurial plunge where just like her mother Maheep Kapoor she became a co-creator in a jewellery brand.
