Legendary singer Asha Bhosle admitted to Breach candy hospital due to chest infection, her granddaughter requests for privacy

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle who is 92 years old has been rushed to the hospital on Saturday night. Reports suggested that she was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to cardiac arrest and pulmonary problems. However, the singer’s grand-daughter Zanai Bhosle took to Instagram and shared an health update. She wrote, “My grandmother, Asha Bhosle due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively.” Fans commented on Zanai’s post and wished the singer a speedy recovery. A user said, “Prayers for the legend to get well soon!! ” Another user said, “Hope Ashaji feels better soon. Healing thoughts and prayers. She is indeed the last moghul and I want her to be immortal. Despite being Lata Mangeshkar’s younger sister, Bhosle carved her own identity with an extraordinary range, effortlessly moving from classical-based melodies to cabaret numbers, pop, ghazals, and folk songs.Her filmography is vast, with thousands of songs across Hindi cinema and several regional languages. She became especially iconic through her collaborations with composers like R. D. Burman, O. P. Nayyar, and Khayyam.
