Selena was ‘SOBBING’ after marrying Benny- Here’s why

Selena Gomez reveals she was 'SOBBING' after marrying Benny Blanco - Here's why

What began as one of the happiest moments of her life, turned rather emotional for Selena Gomez. The newlywed revealed in her latest chat, that she broke down in tears in the days following her lavish wedding to music producer Benny Blanco.

Why Selena broke down after marriage to Benny

During her appearance at the Fortune Most Powerful Women conference in Washington, DC, Gomez confessed that she struggled to fully enjoy the moment due to her fear that happiness is always followed by loss.As reported by Daily Mail, Selena said “This is how I work personally,” and explained, “When something great happens in my life, I expect something bad to happen. So instead of being present and saying, ‘Okay, wow, we’ve done a great thing,’ which I do, I’m always thinking, ‘Okay, but this could all go away tomorrow, so how can I make sure that doesn’t happen?’”She continued, “I would say that’s my biggest conflict sometimes when wonderful things happen. I got married and then I was sobbing because I was like, ‘I’m gonna die the next day.’ I just think that’s a little life thing.”

Selena on starting a family

Since getting engaged and married, Gomez has been open about her newfound peace and hope for the future. Just two weeks after getting hitched, the actress opened up about her dreams of motherhood. While out and about promoting the second season of ‘Wizards Beyond Waverly Place’, the sequel to her beloved Disney Channel series, she shared a BTS clip on Instagram and wrote, “Alex Russo is a mommy,” and added, “hopefully one day that’ll be me. ”

Actress’s health complications

Gomez, in a previous interview, opened up about her health struggles, revealing in an interview with Vanity Fair that she is unable to carry children due to complications from lupus. Opening up about the same, she said, “I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”Gomez, however, said that she still remains determined to start a family, sharing, “It’s still a dream I hold close.” Go to Source
