Ranveer Singh’s touching remarks about championing his wife Deepika Padukone’s ambitions have truly struck a chord with fans. Amid their time in the US, they recently welcomed their daughter Dua into the world. Their love story began on the set of ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ and blossomed into an iconic Bollywood romance, culminating in their wedding in 2018.

Ranveer Singh has once again reminded fans why he is considered one of Bollywood’s most expressive partners. A clip has been circulating widely on social media, the actor spoke about his bond with wife Deepika Padukone in a way that fans described as “protective, grounding, and deeply respectful.”Speaking about the role he plays in his wife’s career in is interview to Miss Malini, Ranveer said, “I’m there to support her, her endeavours, her achievements, help or contribute or do whatever I can to help propel her to achieve her aspirations, ambitions, desires. I’m there for her, I’m her person and vice versa.” The couple is currently in US right now- they brought in the new year together after the super success of Dhurandhar and at this point Deepika is attending her friend’s wedding there. Ranveer and Deepika first met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2012, and what followed was one of Bollywood’s most closely followed relationships of the decade. After years of speculation, the couple finally tied the knot in 2018 in a private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, surrounded by close family and friends. Photos from the wedding dominated Indian social media for weeks and cemented them as one of the most influential power couples in the industry. Last year, the couple welcomed their first child , a daughter Dua, marking a new chapter in their personal life. Ranveer is now gearing up for the second installment of Dhurandhar which is slated to release on 19th March 2026 and people have already begun predicting the earth-shattering start it is going to take. Meanwhile Deepika is all set to kicstart her acting career again post pregnancy- she will be seen with Allu Arjun in Atlee’s unnamed film. But his immediate release is going to be Siddharth Anand’s King with Shah Rukh Khan.
